Glow Worm Tours Gold Coast
Book Your Glow Worm Tour Online and Save!
During our 30-minute tours, each visitor is given the chance to have a much closer interaction with our native Gold Coast glow worms than is normally possible in the wild. Unlike most wild glow worms, our colony is visible during the daytime. Access to our cave is via a guided tour only, which helps us protect our glow worms. Don't forget to visit our frog exhibit! Access to our self-guided frog and insect exhibit Frog Hollow is free with your glow worm tour. Our glow worm cave is accessible via an even concrete pathway, however, please note there are three steps leading down to the cave, and we are not outfitted with ramps. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our cave, we are not wheelchair or pram accessible. Please enquire with us directly to learn how we can accommodate your visit.
How It Works:
Our site on Tamborine Mountain is a glow worm sanctuary. It is built to allow visitors to see glow worms during the daytime, without damaging delicate wild habitats. Visiting glow worms in the wild often causes damage to their colonies, so our cave was built to provide an alternative option. We offer tourists a sustainable, eco-friendly glow worm tour experience during 30-minute guided tours throughout the day. To help us protect our glow worms, access to our site is via guided tour only. Please note, photography is not permitted inside the caves.
